Hello and thank you for stopping by! You have taken the time to do something for you and that is amazing! Since 2007, I have been honored to work with amazing students and clients. I graduated from Clemson University in 2011 with my Masters in Counselor Education and shortly after, I moved to Texas and started my journey as a licensed professional counselor. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with my doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2019. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Counselors for Social Justice, Texas Counseling Association, and serve on the board of Texas Counselors of Social Justice, a division of TCA.
I offer counseling services to adolescents (14 and up), college students, adults, and couples. I work with clients who deal with anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship issues, mood disorders, grief and loss, self-worth, personality issues, OCD and self-harm.
Another passion I have is career coaching. So many people are unhappy in their career fields and I work with individuals to explore their strengths, passions, and values in relation to work. I also offer workshops, group sessions, and consultations for businesses and schools over career development topics, mental health issues, and wellness.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I work to help empower my clients and provide a safe space for clients to grow in their personal wellness.
Each client is unique, and I will use the best treatment plan and therapy for that client. Depending on the client's needs, I use EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, aspects of Dialectal behavioral therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
My sessions are $120 for your initial intake and after that $90 for 50 minutes. I do not take insurance. I can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance provider, but I do not file insurance.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we will work together to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can work together to help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, before marriage. I offer pre-marital counseling, using the SYMBIS Assessment.
I keep a small caseload of 10-12 clients. If I'm full, I am happy to add you to my waiting list.
